We strive to see all of our neighbors housed. We believe in the power of a housing first approach to end homelessness, and we advocate for permanent supportive and affordable housing solutions. Until our goals are achieved, we also provide direct services to those in need.

Advocacy

We advocate for a Housing First policy – seeking to increase the amount of permanent supportive and affordable housing in South OC.

Service

We serve one dinner per month at the Friendship Shelter, run food drives for local food pantries, and collect winter clothing for street outreach.

Education

We sponsor speakers and promote events, including those of our allies, that raise awareness of the causes of and solutions to homelessness.

Our Collaborative Approach

Starting as a ministry of Tapestry, a Unitarian Universalist Congregation, we now work in partnership with a range of organizations and individuals who believe in housing first solutions to homelessness.

How to get involved

Advocacy

We need passionate advocates to speak up for low income people in their community by championing permanent supportive and affordable housing.

Service

We are looking for volunteers to serve meals, contribute to donation drives, and further provide direct service to their community
